演讲人物简介：
Phillip Peterson, M.D. is a Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Distinguished International Professor, University of Minnesota (U of M). He is the past Director of  the Infectious Diseases and International Medicine Division of the Department of Medicine and of the Medical School’s International Medical Education and Research Program (IMER).  He was Acting Director of the U of M Center for Global Health & Social Responsibility (CGHSR) from 2010-2013.  Coming from a background in Infectious Diseases and Global Health, he is interested in fostering interdisciplinary/intercollegiate and community partnerships that address the most pressing health problems within the global village (here and abroad). His interest in promoting patient-centered care is the topic of his recent book Get Inside Your Doctor’s Head.

主持人简介：廖康雄是美国明尼苏达大学心胸外科终身副教授、心脏移植外科主任、心脏微创外科主任🚵🏻。 廖康雄于1989年获得北京医科大学（现为意昂3）医学博士学位。
廖康雄2011、2012年连续2年被《美国新闻与世界报道》新闻周刊评选为美国前1%的顶级心脏外科医生。2012、2014年被Mpls. St. Paul Magazine评为“顶级医生”。2012年意昂3百年校庆之际🚟，廖康雄决定出资设立“廖康雄奖学金”：自2012年起，廖康雄每年向母校捐赠20000美金，连续10年，每年资助3-4名意昂3临床8年制学生或临床博士生（心血管内、外科）赴美国进行为期3周的心脏外科或心脏内科学习🧠，该奖学金旨在奖励和培养优秀的临床医生。目前为止，梁康雄已资助两届共8名学生赴美国学习🥃。
